Wrap Up

Well - I finally made it! I did enjoy some of these activities - especially learning how to create a blog, learning about RSS feeds, and Flickr. I think that these exercises required quite a LOT of time - so much time, that we were actually SCHEDULED for L&P time off-desk in the hope that we could all complete the 23 Things. I would suggest that if we do something similar again, allow staff to CHOOSE several activities instead of working through all of them. Obviously, some people spent a great deal of time setting all this up for the CML staff, and to those of you who invested all that time, THANK YOU. This did provide avenues to briefly explore activities about which I had heard, but knew nothing. The little instructional videos along the way were quite well done - just enough info, but not too much.

MOLDI

Yeah, I browsed, but I am not interested in listening to audio books at this time in my life - I would much rather READ them. Maybe later . . . By the way, MOLDI is not easyt o find on our homepage - I think we need an icon or acronym in the audio book download window for those of us who are looking for something specific.

Podcasts

I just added "Betty in the Sky with Suitcase" to my Bloglines RSS feeds. Yeah! I might use this option . . .

YouTube

I explored YouTube, briefly, and watched Miss Teen USA 2007 from South Caroline TRY to answer a questions - Mama Mia!

Awards

I explored "I'm Cooked" - lots of options and easy to use. (This is #18 - sorry, I'm slightly out of order here).

Tooling Around

Explored the Tool Box and read Tooling Around. I liked "StumbleUpon" - that's fun.

Web-based apps

OK - I went on Google Docs. That's actually something that I think would be quite useful and easy to use. I like it.
